Medical Buildings Proposed Near East Park Entrance: Lake Nona Area


Another developer has stepped forward with plans to develop land next to East Park.  The last proposal, which was a town house community, was dropped due to soft market conditions.

The parcel is behind Burger King and Taco Bell (off Narcoossee & Savannah Park)  and the developer has proposed two Class A medical office buildings and has applied to the City of Orlando for approval of this permitted use.  There is a contract on the parcel.

This application will be scheduled to go before an administrative body for approval on November 13th

This is what I know thus far:

1.       There is no parking proposed for Savannah Park Drive;

2.       The buildings are proposed to be 3 story; 46’ at the top of parapet and 52’ at the top of the roof top mechanical screening.  The maximum allowable height is 65’.

3.       Construction start is planned for the first of the new year.
